Mark4:26-41

The Adventure of A lifetime

Jesus cares. How much do we know of our Lord, Jesus? Do we know Him that much, that we would stay calm and composed, fearless, unshakened -- even in the midst of the strongest storm? Enough to obey Him whatever it takes? Or do we pale in comparison to the winds and the waves that instantly obeyed Him when He said, “Quiet, be still!” Jesus deserves obedience.

Jesus invites us to cross over to the other side. To not be content at how much we know of him now. To know him a little more. For indeed, there is so much of Him to know.

And oftentimes in the midst of crisis we come to have a deeper knowledge of who He is. We experience Him in a much deeper level. Every storm is an opportunity for a fresh experience of God. A time to know Him a little more. There is always something to know of Him at the other side, so let us go over and benefit from the adventure of a lifetime – getting to know Jesus. He who is able not only to command even the fiercest storm to calm down but also to let us peacefully rest in His care.
